When I moved out to Huntington Beach I became a tour leader for the Midsouth. From September-December we were planning a Carry The Love tour for the beginning of 2022. There was 20+ different teams planning tours all across the United States and Europe. Planning a tour is so much more work than I thought it would be. So many phone calls, so many zooms, so many texts, and so many hours trying to figure things out. At the end of October we went out on pre-tour, which is meeting up with hosts for the carrythelove tour and praying and building relationship with them. We did a regional weekend in Dallas, TX where we invited all the hosts from all over the midsouth to come for a weekend and just pray worship and build each other up. It was insane! We went out and evangelized one day during the weekend and saw multiple people give their life to Jesus. After pretour we went back to Huntington Beach and started locking in the last details for the winter.
While we plan tour there is Discipleship Training School (DTS) happening. So as staff with CR you get to choose a circle to be a part of and I choose to be part of the tour circle but I had a couple close friends that were part of the training circle. Which means they were with the students that came out for the DTS 24/7. So as I spent time with my friends I started getting coffee and building relationships with the students that were apart of it. Being able to hear their life stories and how they got out to Huntington Beach and pour into them was easily my favorite part of the fall.
During the week we have our Greenhouse prayer room sets 3 times a week and our Monday Night service that I helped with as well, either running the camera for the livestream or the slides for the people in the room.
