After tour ended we traveled back to HB. We had a week of rest/waiting for the rest of the tour leaders to get back as well. After that we did a debrief for all the tour leaders where we just got to hear testimonies and process everything that happened. We got to hear some solid teachings from some of the leaders that helped me realize I wasn't going crazy that everything I was going through was normal. After debrief we started a call center for everyone who came to our Carry the Love stops, just to check in with them and see how they have been since. We also started calling everyone who had signed for our summer schools or our fall DTS. So for a couple weeks I was calling people all day everyday.
While we were on tour there was another round of students that came out for a DTS and a couple weeks after we got back they left for Mexico. In Mexico they saw 100+ of people give their life to Jesus. They got to go to a couple colleges in Mexico and do an event there as well.
During that there was a team of 30+ Circuit Riders that went to Burundi. Burundi is a small country in Africa and it is the poorest country in the world. The team went there for about 2 weeks. The heart behind the team going is that they would train the Burundians so that they could evangelize and pray for their own people. The first day of evangelism training/evangelizing they saw over 1,300 people give their life to Jesus. And every day that week they saw over 1,000 people give their life to Jesus. At the end of the week they did a Carry the Love Festival where thousands of Burundians came to each night, and they got so much freedom. By the end of the week there was over 5,000 salvations, salvations that were recorded on decision cards. The people in Burundi will never be the same.
In May I ended up driving all the way to Kansas City, MO from California which was 24+ hrs on the road and it totally worth it to see God move the way that He did! The week before The Send and the day of were absolutely insane! The week before was called Flood week, during the week we had morning sessions with evangelism training and after lunch about 1,000 people went out and served/evangelized all across KC. Here are the stats from that week:
7,560 residents of KC served in some capacity
5,142 Bibles distributed
3,440 times the Gospel was shared
504 decisions for Christ !!
During the flood week I got to help run the slides for the worship sets in the mornings and the evenings, and I also helped with getting logistics figured out for the day of The Send. The day of the send there was 23,000+ that gathered for a full day of just worshipping God! 250,000+ streamed it from all over the world! I had the opportunity to serve that day and it was so much fun and so crazy! Thousands of people got sent into the mission field! So many people got healed, including my brother! May 14th was a life changing day!
After The Send the Circuit Riders got recruited to be a call center for The Send so I helped out with that. This was for every person who signed up to go into missions, whether that was their neighborhoods, universities, highschools, their communities, or helping the foster care system. So for three weeks we called thousands of people. I had some of the coolest phone calls ever, and had some of the weirdest phone calls as well. Our call center made over 19,000 calls.
There has been so much happening this year already but I feel like there is so much that I'm missing. God has been doing so much it's crazy, and I'm just so thankful I get to be a part of it.
