Beginning of 2022, 24 teams went all across the United States and Europe for 8 weeks. We gathered over 22,000 people and saw over 2,500 people give their life to Jesus for the first time! I had the honor of co-leading a team across Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. We had a total of 12 people on our team, in a 12 passenger van haha. It was a crazy 8 weeks! My team alone gathered over 2,700 people. We saw close to 400 people give their life to Jesus for the first time, so many re-dedications, baptisms healings, and people getting set free from anxiety and depression. And so many people getting activated and set on fire for their campus, their community, their family, and their friends!
The first week we went out an evangelized and inviting people to our event that night and since it was cold out we ended up just going into a Walmart in Tulsa, and we are talking to so many people and a couple of the guys on my team come up to me and say that I should go talk to this one woman. At first I say no because I saw someone else from my team already talk to her but the guys insisted so I said fine. I go up to her and she right aways says "if you're part of that church group I already know." So I asked her if she was coming, then got to ask her if she was a christian. She said no, so I asked whats stopping her and if she would want to give her life to God. She said yes. It was literally that simple. I ended up sharing the gospel with her and telling that it wasnt just a one time yes, it was a daily picking up your cross and following God and then asked her again if she still wanted to give her life to God. And again she said yes. I honestly was so caught off guard that she actually wanted to give her life to God because I had never had someone say yes before. So I lead her through the salvation prayer and got her info for churches near by and invited her to our events that were near by.
This tour changed my life. It was hard sometimes but it was so much fun. I'm still learning this every day but it really taught me how to depend on God more. It made me realize how hungry people are for real love, and that type of love only comes from God. It made me realize that there are so many broken people in the US. You don't have to go outside the united states for a missions trip, you literally can go to the mall near you and find someone who hasn't heard the gospel before. You might not believe me, because I know before joining CR I thought everyone in the United States has heard the gospel before. I was shook and heartbroken when I realized that it wasn't so. Shook because so many people that we pass on the daily have never heard the good news before. Heartbroken because of how selfish I had been and still am because I don't share the gospel like I should have and should be doing. Tour really opened my eyes.
There are so many testimonies that I could talk about but this page would be forever long then, it's just so crazy what happens when you give God your yes. You will never know where you'll end up or what you'll be doing.
